Trying to Lose 50 plus Pounds!

Losing Weight is the hardest thing I have ever done, so hopefully I can stay motivated and reach my goals.

So here I am now at 185 lbs, wishing I was 130. But, as a New Year’s resolution and with a huge inspiration from the success steps, I am starting on a new road to self-discovery / self-acceptance and, hopefully, weight-loss.

A little more about me: I am 34 yrs, (5 ft 6.5 in) and weight 185lbs).

My plans are: I filled out my weight loss goal sheet on Saturday.

  1. Count my calories and stay within my required calories to lose weight. My food will be divided in 2 meals, 2 snacks and a smoothie that I will include on my goal sheet.
  2. Exercise: 45 min to an hour on zumba workouts.

Well, my day went like this:

Breakfast: Dr. Oz Smoothie.

Morning snack: Slim Fast Bar.

Lunch: Oven backed chicken breast with broccoli and cheese.

Afternoon snack: 2 small apples.

Dinner: A high fiber bar.

Overall 1400 Calories (a little bit over the limit, but I had no idea the cheese would be so high in calories).

I’m very happy with my day. Hopefully, the next days will be even better. Can’t wait for my next weight in.
