Green Detox Diet Smoothie

Now that summer is almost here, it’s time to start getting back on track. This means getting back eating real foods and working out – fruits, vegetables and lots of exercise. In other words, it’s time to begin a detox ridding your body of all those toxins. There is always the same nagging question, though, “How to get started? 

This year, I discovered the best way to control my urge to eat everything at once and return to a healthy diet: a “Detox blaster.” It helps cleanse your body of sugar and it is so refreshing at the same time. It is great first thing in the morning after a workouts for breakfast or lunch.

Detox Blast

  • ½ Cucumber
  • ½ Cup Pineapple
  • 1 Apple cored and cut
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • Large handful of spinach
  • ½ Avocado
  • Handful of raw almonds
  • 3 – 4 ice cubes
  • Water to line

Add all ingredients in the Smothie Blender – blend and enjoy. Please feel free take creative liberties.

Smoothie tips use coconut water and almond milk as well as pure fruit juice it gives a great flavor when using kale, spinach and broccoli with the fruits.
