Now that summer is almost here, it’s time to start getting back on track. This means getting back eating real foods and working out – fruits, vegetables and lots of exercise. In other words, it’s time to begin a detox ridding your body of all those toxins. There is always the same nagging question, though, “How to get started?
This year, I discovered the best way to control my urge to eat everything at once and return to a healthy diet: a “Detox blaster.” It helps cleanse your body of sugar and it is so refreshing at the same time. It is great first thing in the morning after a workouts for breakfast or lunch.
- ½ Cucumber
- ½ Cup Pineapple
- 1 Apple cored and cut
- ½ lemon juiced
- Large handful of spinach
- ½ Avocado
- Handful of raw almonds
- 3 – 4 ice cubes
- Water to line
