Skinny Grapefruit Spritzers

Grapefruit Crush Spritzer

This margaritas-style drink is light, fruity and has a slight fizz. TO MAKE: In glass, muddle 1 maraschino cherry and 3 lime wedges; remove limes.  Add 11/2 oz agave tequila, 3 /12 oz pink grapefruit juice, 1 oz. lime seltzer or grapefruit soda, a splash simple syrup (optional) and ice; stir well. 119 Calories.

 

Orange-Cider Smash

The 19th-century cooler gets and update with a splash of apple cider. TO MAKE: In cocktail shaker, muddle 4 mint springs, 4 orange slices, 2 lemon slices and 1 to 2 tsp. superfine sugar (or a splash of simple syrup).  Add 2 oz. bourbon, 2 oz. apple cider and ice; shake well.  strain into ice-filled glass.  Garnish with lime. 149 Calories

Twisted Pink Cranberry

This fruity punch blends the seasonal flavor of cranberry with the zesty, sharp bit of citrus bitters.  TO MAKE: Add 1 to 2 drops orange bitters to glass; swirl. Add 2 oz. white rum, 2 oz. cran-raspberry juice, a splash of soda water or ginger ale and ice; stir.  Add more orange bitters to taste. Garnish as desired. 138 Calories
