Dr Oz Diet Discovery Menu Tips

Dr. Oz has announced a new diet strategy “Dr Oz’s Diet Discovery” where incorporating fat-rich meal can help you lose weight. Learn more about he Dr Oz’s Diet Discovery and start your weight loss plan.

This diet is about increasing fats and cutting grain to boost the slimming process.

Dr. Oz’s Discovery Diet Menu Recipes:

Mix and Match Meal Choices

Choose one option for each main sitting

The Basic Meal: 1/2 cup lentils or chickpeas or chickpeas; if desired, once a day you can swap in 1/2 cup berries, oatmeal, brown rice or quinoa

Option 1

Better than Oatmeal Bowl: Mix 1/2 cup hot water, 1-2 tbs. chia seeds, 1-2 tbs. hemp seeds, 1 tbs. melted coconut oil, 1 tbs. almond butter, hearty sprinkle of cinnamon stevia and sea salt to taste.

Option 2

1 Serving Easy Turkey Meatloaf (recipe below)

1 1/2 cups steamed cauliflower whipped in processor with butter and optional splash cream 1/2 cup greens sauteed in butter.

Meatloaf Recipe

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 diced onion, sautéed in olive oil
  • 1 roasted red pepper, diced
  • 1 egg, whisked
  • 3/4 cup almond meal
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 3/4 cup almond meal
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tsp. dried garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup no-sugar added marinara, such as Rao’s

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease loaf pan; set aside. Mix all ingredients except the sauce until well combined; adding salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a light greased loaf pan and bake until cooked through, 40 – 60 minutes. Remove from oven and as meatloaf cools, warm sauce. Top meat with sauce. Serves 6.
