  2. I could not believe how good the chips came out. I used red potatoes. It did take a few tries to see what time is good for your microwave. Mine were done in about 4 minutes. I wish it worked a little quicker, and you could do more at a time. When I used both trays it took about 8 minutes, so I decided to cook them separately, and just rotate the trays each time. I thoroughly dried the potatoes on paper towels sprinkled with a bit of salt and put them in the microwave. Everyone was fighting over who got dibs on the next batch.   4. I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas and, I have to admit, I was very skeptical that it would really work or that the finished product would taste good at all. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! It’s easy to fix and easy to clean up. Not to mention VERY easy to eat!
    My recommendations: Cook one plate at a time, don’t stack the plates if you have more than one. Season BEFORE you put it in, cook on high for 2 minutes. Take out, flip the chips, season the other side and put back in for 3 minutes. If you have more than one plate, you can put the new plate in while you’re flipping the chips from the first plate. WATCH OUT as your microwave will get hot while cooking a batch. I have found that one medium potato will make enough chips to fill a sandwich bag full and takes about 30 minutes to complete; potato wash to clean up.
    I HATE to cook but I LOVE fixing these chips! They are healthier and far less expensive than store bought chips. Not to mention VERY tasty as you can season them with any season you want. I highly recommend this product to chip lovers everywhere!
