17 day diet recipe – Cycle 1.
Cauliflower Pizza Recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked, riced cauliflower.
- 1 egg.
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese.
- 1 1/2 tsp. fennel.
- 1 tsp. oregano.
- 2 tsp. parsley.
- mushrooms, onions and tomatoes.
Toppings of choice:
Fat free or low fat mozzarella cheese. Mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes are great toppings.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees, spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray. In a medium bowl, combine egg and mozzarella, press evenly on the pan. Sprinkle evenly with fennel, oregano and parsley.
Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes (15 – 20 minutes for a double recipe). Remove the pan from the oven. Add sauce to the crust, then add toppings and cheese.
And a low carb pizza sauce is recommended.
