Healthy Low Calorie Strawberry-Chicken Sandwich

Try this healthy mix of fruit and lean chicken it makes a sandwich an instant family favorite!

  • 8 slices whole wheat bread
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cooked
  • 4 tbs. reduced-fat cream cheese
  • 6 to 12 strawberries lettuce
  1. Toast whole-wheat bread slices.  Spread with even layer of cream cheese. Sprinkle with ground black pepper, if desired. Slice chicken breast halves; set aside.
  2. Thinly slice strawbrries lengthwise.  Divide 1/2 stawberries evenly among 4 bread slices. Top each with chicken, lettuce and remaining berries.
  3. Top sandwiches with remaining bread slices; cut diagonally and secure with toothpick.
