For a delicious butt-blasting lunch or dinner, this lean-protein taco is the way to go! The black beans loaded with healthy complex carbohydrates and fiber that will keep you full all day long. Enjoy.
Serves 1
- 1 whole wheat tortilla.
- 4 oz ground chicken.
- 1/4 cup canned corn.
- 2 tbsp black beans.
- 2 leaves romaine lettuce.
- 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes.
Directions:
Sauté the ground chicken until the meat is thoroughly cooked through. Assemble the chicken, black beans, tomatoes, lettuce and canned corn into the whole wheat tortilla serve up and enjoy!
Filling the tacos is always a pain because the tacos would fall over if using hard shell, or flop closed if using soft shell.
This plate is amazing. Holds everything in place perfectly while you are filling it, and during dinner while you are eating the first taco, the other two sit nicely in place with no spillage or frustration. The two areas next to the taco slots are great for beans, rice, whatever you want.
