Start off your day right?

Breakfast is the most important meal of the Day, because it gives us the energy & fuel to get us going in the morning! And Since breakfast is the first meal of the day chances are that this is the meal that we will burn off these calories, so don’t skimp on your breakfast.

When you roll out of bed in the morning make sure you eat a healthy breakfast. It is the most important meal of the day! If you don't your body goes into starvation mode, so your metabolism slows to a crawl to conserve energy. Remember it is about our BMR (Basal Rate) you should know your body BMR. If you didn't find out your BMR visit the Calorie Calculator tab (page) you need to know this to develop a weight loss plan.

 
  • Your breakfast should typically be between 25-30% of your total day's calorie intake. So did you find out your daily calorie intake?

  • If you are a new member you need to find out their Daily Calorie Intake to get started. This is step 2 on getting started, if you haven't found out your Daily Calculator

  • In order to get your breakfast calories you first need your Daily Calorie Intake calculation,
    your body's (BMR).

  • If you don't have it go to the Calorie Calculator tab (page) to find out your daily calorie intake
    on the Daily Calorie Calculator. If you are looking to lose weight be sure to choose as a
    Goal "lose Weight"
    .
  • The new member page give you instructions on how to create a weight loss plan. If you haven't review this page click here to access getting started on you weight loss goals.

  • Once you have your Daily Calorie Intake, input your number of daily calories in the breakfast calculator above. Then input your breakfast calorie percent of (25-30) is the recommendation
    for breakfast calories. This will then calculate your daily breakfast calorie and add this to your recorded sheet of your weight loss goals.

This is a pretty quick meal to make. Put a little olive oil in pan with a sprinkle of parsley and oregano. Cut cherry tomatoes in half include them in the olive oil for about 2 minutes and remove. Then cook the
egg in the same olive oil. Toast whole wheat toast with a little butter
and you now have a great well balanced low calorie breakfast.
 

 

Power up your breakfast with Quinoa (super food): Combine a cup of cooked quinoa with 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup blueberries, raspberries or bananas and microwave for 60 seconds. This makes a great alternative to oatmeal.
